Privacy & cookies.

A plain-English summary of how this website handles your information.

Who we are

This website is operated by Westt Aesthetics Ltd, based in Islington, North London. We are responsible for the personal information you send us through this website.

You can contact us about privacy at westtaesthetics@outlook.com.

Information you send us

When you use our contact form or bridal enquiry form, we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, telephone number (if given), enquiry type and message. The bridal form also asks for your wedding date, the services you are interested in and your bridal party size.

We use this information only to reply to your enquiry and arrange any conversation you have asked for. We do not add you to any marketing list from these forms. Please do not send medical information through them.

Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, our website hosting provider, on our behalf.

Booking appointments

Appointments are booked through Acuity Scheduling (westtaesthetics.as.me), a separate service operated by Squarespace. Our booking page shows Acuity’s booking calendar embedded within it, so you can book without leaving our website; you can also open it directly on Acuity.

Everything you enter in the booking calendar — your choice of appointment, your name, contact details, any answers to intake or consultation questions and any deposit or payment — goes directly to Acuity, not through our website. Deposits and payments are taken by the payment provider connected to our Acuity account; we never see your full card details. We receive your booking from Acuity so we can arrange and provide your appointment. Acuity handles this information in line with its own privacy policy (squarespace.com/privacy), as well as ours.

Shop orders and payments

When you buy from our shop, you pay on a secure checkout page run by Stripe. Stripe collects your card details, email address, name, phone number and delivery address. We never see or store your full card details.

Stripe shares your name, email, phone number, delivery address and what you ordered with us so we can fulfil and deliver your order, provide downloads, and help with any questions or returns. Order records are stored securely in our website’s database, hosted by Netlify. Stripe handles payment information in line with its own privacy policy (stripe.com/gb/privacy).

Website hosting

Our website is hosted by Netlify. Like most websites, its servers process technical information such as your IP address and browser type in order to deliver pages securely and protect against misuse.

Newsletter

If you sign up to our newsletter, we keep your email address (and first name, if given), the wording you agreed to, and when and where you signed up. We use this only to send you our news and offers, and to show that you asked to receive them. We never add you because you bought something or sent an enquiry.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any of our emails, or by contacting us. We keep a record that you unsubscribed so you are not emailed again.

Cookies and visitor statistics

This website does not use advertising pixels or marketing cookies, and does not set non-essential cookies. Our fonts are served from our own website rather than a third party.

This website no longer collects visitor statistics. It does not record which pages or products you view, what you add to your basket or when you start checkout, and it does not check whether you are online. Our records of your orders come from your purchases themselves, not from tracking your visit.

Until October 2026, we counted visits with our own privacy-friendly statistics, without cookies and without storing anything on your device. These recorded the page, the website a visitor came from, their device type (phone, tablet or computer) and country, and basic shop activity, using an anonymous code made from the IP address and browser details mixed with a random value replaced every day, so no one could be identified or followed from one day to the next. IP addresses were never stored, and visitors whose browser sent a “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control” signal were not counted. We have switched this off. The statistics already recorded are kept in our website’s database, hosted by Netlify, are seen only by our staff, and are deleted 25 months after they were recorded.

Your shop basket is remembered in your own browser (local storage) so it isn’t lost between pages. It stays on your device and is only used to run the basket. Staff signing in to manage the website use a strictly necessary sign-in cookie. Stripe’s checkout page may set its own cookies to process payments securely and prevent fraud.

Our booking page shows Acuity’s booking calendar. When that page opens, your browser loads the calendar from Acuity (Squarespace), which receives technical information such as your IP address and browser type, and may set its own cookies or similar storage that it needs to run the calendar, keep your booking session and take payments securely. Our website doesn’t set or read these cookies. If you would rather not load the calendar, please contact us to book instead.

Links to social media profiles, and to open booking on Acuity directly, take you to other services, which may use their own cookies. Please check their policies for details.

If we add any non-essential cookies or third-party tracking in future, we will update this page and ask for your consent first.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights including access to, correction of and deletion of your personal information. To make a request, please contact us. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
